do you have any helpful tips on the combination ink and watercolor? Like some people have suggested me to put watercolor down first before the black line work. Is that how it works? I didn't really listen and went linework first and then color. Maybe since I don't have the best brushes it could have something to do with it. Idk its tricky trying to get the right process down especially when most people at my school don't do the same type of art or they do mostly digital.

About if applying fist ink or watercolor, I can only tell you what I do hehe, I actually do a first session with ink and then a full session with watercolors and again I use ink does this make any sense? haha, I don't have awesome brushes neither, I use the regular watercoloring brushes from winsor and newton! I wish I could afford at least some beautiful robert simmons brushes. I don't think it's a right way to do this, for example Caitlin Hackett applies first the ink and then the watercolor! think it depends in how do you feel more confortable!!
